24 Apr 2019 - Flew from PHX to LAX - Stan picked us up & took us to his boat, the Alaskan Gypsy!
Had Happy Hour on the Flying Deck! Wow! Feel like Royalty!! Stan has a permanent slip here at Marina Del Rey. He's been here since he bought the boat last October.
25 Apr 2019 - Up at 6am when we heard Stan moving around. Got some coffee & we headed out
It was an easy cruise. Stan already had our path charted on his new fancy equipment. Had a few little bugs & we occasionally made some loop d loops, but smooth seas & no major problems. Saw lots of seals as we left the harbor & lots of dolphins on our crossing. Heavy marine layer for a couple of hours, then it cleared up. Saw some big ships as we crossed the N/S sea channels, but no issues. Stan even let George take the helm for a bit!
