Carnival Dream Cruise - Key West, Florida 

The morning dawned sunny & hot as we docked at Key West, Florida.  A bit annoyed because there was confusion on what time our excursion started.  Since our phones changed to local time & our tour was on shore, we assumed (oops there is that word!!!!) the excursion would be local time.  We got up early so we could have some breakfast & be down stairs on the dock at 10am East Coast time.  

It was a mad house on dock, but we found the representative for our excursion & found we were an hour early.  The ship prints the tickets according to "SHIPS" time which does not change.  Well phooey.  We wandered around a few minutes, but it was just a junky tourist sales area with lots of people & tent venues selling junk.  Worthless.  We headed back inside, but only to a quiet waiting area on Deck 4 & waited an hour while reading email newsletters.

Back on the port an hour later & spent an hour and a half waiting for the excursion to get organized so that we could board the catamaran.  It was rather a mob scene & we were pretty annoyed.  

It ended up being not so bad.  The area where we snorkeled was nice & the cruise out there was very pleasant.  The boat was crowded & they were letting folks smoke on the back which we didn't like.  Once we were in the water, we enjoyed the snorkeling.  The water was a little murky because of yesterday's rain & wind, but there were a lot of fish & we could stay away from the crowd of people.  They served margarita's on the way back & they were good.  Improved our mood so that we exited the boat in a pretty good mood!!

Back on board, we ate a quick late lunch, took a nap & then enjoyed the cruise out of Key West.

The meal was so so (didn't help that we weren't hungary!!!), but the entertainment was fun & our magician made a visit.

Saw the PG Comedy show again.  Watched another show in the Theater.  It's a chore to find a good place to sit in this theater.  There are poles in all the wrong places.  Performers are cute & the show was not bad.

Got our second towel animal.  I'm saving them in a zoo!!  Relaxed after the show & watched a movie on George's laptop.
